      <image:title>About - Where it began</image:title>
<image:caption>When I was a kid, I spent a lot of time around campfires. Some of my favorite memories of my childhood came from those campfires in Northern Saskatchewan. My grandfather would make hot chocolate for my four siblings and me, and coffee for him, just before building a massive bonfire. My oldest sister would read ghost stories and my Grandpa would sit sipping his coffee while laughing at our reactions. Those stories never failed to scare the beejeezeez out of me, yet I can’t stop smiling when I think about those times. My Grandpa has since passed away and ever since the smell of coffee and campfire has never failed to bring me back to those times by the fire.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About - The decision to build a coffee business</image:title>
<image:caption>happened during the peak of COVID-19. When the virus got serious, all the bars and cafes where I was living closed down, and I was left feeling lost and disconnected. I found myself sitting with my Mom around a campfire and was hit with a wave of nostalgia as our coffee mixed with wood smoke, and I found myself thinking about how much Grandpa Russ would have loved to be sitting there with us.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Coffee, family, wood smoke, campfires, and all the best memories. Right then and there, WoodBox Coffee Co. was born. I can’t share coffee with Grandpa Russ anymore but I can share it with you and he would have LOVED that. -Nate Bergen Harder</image:caption>
